At RecycleLab, we provide a specialised recycling solution for single-use plastic lab consumables. Our closed-loop system allows science and healthcare organisations to safely recycle lab plastics, helping to reduce waste, lower carbon emissions, and support a circular economy.
HOW IT WORKS
Our process is designed to be simple, flexible, and scalable
Whether you're a university, biotech startup, or clinical research lab, our service makes it easy to recycle - without disrupting your workflow.
Step 1: We send you recycling bags and boxes.
Step 2: You fill the bags with clean, accepted lab plastics.
Step 3: Once 5 boxes are full, let us know — we’ll organise collection via courier or our van service (depending on location and volume).
Step 4: We sort and process the plastics at our facility into high-quality raw material, used to create new lab products.
All collections are fully traceable to support your sustainability reporting and Scope 3 carbon reduction.
DECONTAMINATION STATION
To help labs safely disinfect plastics before recycling, we’ve developed the RecycleLab Decontamination Station - a compact unit available in three sizes to suit different lab setups.
Designed for ease of use, the station includes a fine mesh that even retains small items like 1–10 µL pipette tips.
When used with our recommended disinfectant (Naturama), the station ensures your plastics are safe for handling and recycling - while delivering a better-quality recycled material than autoclaving.
